What will increase homeowners' ADU construction costs?

NEW CONSTRUCTION

New construction of an ADU will be expensive because its the same building structure as a new house. Like a new house, the ADU will require a new foundation, framing, electrical, stucco, and finishes.

SEWER LINE

If the Garage is located in the front of the property the cost for the installation of the sewer line will be low. If the Garage is in the back of the property the Plumber will be required to excavate an 80-100ft trench to install a new sewer line for the ADU. This one factor will increase the construction cost.
